Huntington Workshop

Spent last Saturday evening with some fun girls doing the Huntington Workshop!

The papers in this workshop are so pretty and really speak Autumn. My crafty friend Daphnie, who didn't get the workshop but instead opted for just the paper pack, decided to use her paper to make some home decor depicted on page 42 of the 2013 Autumn./Winter Idea Book. Her mini layouts will be adhered to 6x6 canvas frames, a few more embellishments will be added and then they will be hung from ribbon to make a beautiful display once pictues of her family are attached.

In the spirit of using up our scraps and getting the most for our money here are 2 more layouts and 2 cards using what was left from the workshop. I did use approx 5 extra sheets of cardstock (3 Colonial White, 1 Desert Sand and 1 Goldrush) for the base pages.

This layout comes from our how-to-book Reflections. I forgot how much I love this book! I used pattern 1b and 8h. I also used my sizzix for the title, tree and leaves. And finally, I used the September Stamp of the Month in the journal box.

This one page layout also comes from Reflections, pattern 1c. The gold rush paper is stamped with the leaves from the Huntington Workshop stamp set to create my own patterned paper.

The card to the left is from Originals and the card to the right is lifted from consultant Mary Gunn.

I still have this much paper and embellishments left! I plan on making a few more cards and will post those and soon as they are done. I also hope to have pictures on all these layouts by the end of November!

Next up is the Lola Workshop. I hope you will join us!
