Yeah! My favorite season has arrived!

I thought I would celebrate the start of my favorite season with this quick little craft. I found it on a fellow consultants blog. So cute and perfect for some battery powered tea lights.

Here are the direction to make one pumpkin:
10 strips of 1"x6" cardstock (Autumn Terracotta)
Some green cardstock for the leaves (Olive)
Brad
Grosrain
Crop-o-dile (or hole punches)
Crimper
Oval punch (I used my coluzzle or you could do it free hand)
Battery operated tea lights
Optional: Cuttlebug for embossing, I used the swirl folder

Take all 10 strips of cardstock and stack them together.  If using the crop-o-dile punch through the stack on one end with the larger hole, then on the other end with the smaller hole.

Keeping the strips stacked together, place your brad through the smaller punched holes.

Again, keeping the strips stacked together, tie a knot on one end of your ribbon and pull it through the larger holes, making sure that you also get your crimped oval leaves on the top. Tie your ribbon as close the the holes as possible.

Fan out your strips of cardstock, forming the rounded shape.

Enjoy making this quick little craft and Happy Fall!!!

A couple of cards

Needed a couple of birthday cards so spent a little time creating these. I think I like the top one the best.
