Let’s Get Organized!

I love to be organized but you wouldn’t know it looking at my craft space.

This is shameful.  It’s so bad that the past two days I have been working on my next month’s workshop at my dining room table. So, yeah, I have a mess going on down there too.

The biggest obstacle to staying organized is not cleaning up after myself when I finish a project or if I’m not quite finished, having some kind of container to keep an on-going project from cluttering up my space.

I have several ideas to keep myself organized and this summer, I plan on implementing quite a few of them. Close To My Heart has some great products to help with organizationand I have a few DIY ideas, as well. I’d like to add some decorative touches, as well. Nothing fancy, I mean, I would love to have tables made of reclaimed wood and specialty cabinets installed. But that’s not in this girl’s budget. I am talking more along the lines of having some pictures on the wall and just making the room welcoming.

So let’s get organized together! Every Sunday, look for a post about what I am doing to get my craft room in shape. Hopefully, by summer’s end, I will have transformed my space into an oasis.

I am going to give myself an assignment every week and if you can relate to my assignment then jump right in and join me in the process!

This week’s assignment is to just tidy up because right now there is so much going on that it takes me at least 5 minutes just to find anything. I am also going to resolve to clean up after myself if I get anything out.
